Cover of "5000 Fans of Dr. T" Issue "Zero" by Mark Merlino, 1981

Ooh, what a good Fanta drawing! Not to mention the good drawing of Dr. Osamu Tezuka.
I think Mark was very proud of impressing him with skiltaires. The photograph is still on Mark's WikiFur page ( https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Mark_Merlino )
Dr. Tezuka's fans were surprised to learn, years after Dr. Tezuka's death, that he had stashes of furry art he had done.

...I think we knew :b

Still, this was a very cute publication, alluding to the 1952 (1953?) movie, The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T (by Dr Seuss! The sets make it obvious)
Double pun points in that there are so many folding fans.

A lovely soul uploaded this to Archive.org and while it's sci-fi/fantasy first, it seems like a vehicle for sharing their art first. Love it!
